Delighting in the Trinity

Many of us find the doctrine of the Trinity - that God is three persons sharing one nature - difficult to get our heads round, and frankly a bit embarrassing. What is more, we seem to get by without it. But in reality the Trinity is at the heart of all we believe. The Trinity gives shape to Christian truth.

The Bible is the story of God's promised salvation. Despite our fall into sin and the recurrent rejection of God's rule, God promised to make Abraham into a great nation and bless him. What does this mean? How are we to interpret this promise of salvation? Looking at God's covenantal promises with Abraham, Moses, and David, the author presents the big picture of the Bible and helps Christians understand the parts in relation to the whole.
