Image analysis is used extensively in research to help interpret data produced from any scientific image. This introductory book explains how suitable data can be obtained from images and provides a useful guide to the analysis of such data. Image analysis software is often considered to be difficult to understand. This book, however, demonstrates that most manipulations are relatively simple, and that subsequent analysis of the image is not as difficult as it may first seem.
