Volume 1
Her biggest problems for the moment is finding a Teacher who can show her how to use them properly. Another is that she doesn't know anyone who knows anything about Supernatural powers.
In fact, her mother is violently against the Supernatural, as was her mother before her.
The only people who seem willing to help her are dead, not that that makes any difference to Megan.
She embraces their help with open arms
Volume 2
This does not deter Megan from seeking their assistance though.
In this story, it is Megan's thirteenth birthday and Megan's parents take her shopping, where there is an incident, which Megan helps to put right. She is thanked by the police and the ambulance staff.
It is the first time that she uses her powers for anything useful.
Later, in the afternoon, there is a family party in a marquee, but it is the evening with her friends that she is really looking forward to.
She meets a boy there and receives her first kiss from a non-relative.

This novella is about Megan's trip to her grandparents' house in West Wales, where she goes hiking, swimming and potholing with her best friend, Jane, who is frightened by the ghosts of some ancient cave-dwellers.

In this book, Megan is inspired, by someone who has recently become a friend, to establish a garden in her backyard. She tackles the task with her usual enthusiasm and help from her parents, friends... and others.

In this volume, Megan goes to the zoo with her parents. She is hoping to communicate with the animals, but she gets mixed results, which leaves her wondering about the quality of life of animals in captivity, farms and even pets.

However, some people did offer to help and an animal showed a special friendship, but they were not 'alive' in the normal sense of the word. They had passed on.
Megan has three such friends: Wacinhinsha, her Spirit Guide, who had been Sioux in his last life on Earth; her maternal grandfather, Gramps and a huge Siberian tiger called Grrr.
Wacinhinsha is extremely knowledgeable in all things spiritual, psychic and paranormal; her grandfather is a novice 'dead person' and Grrr can only speak Tiger, as one might imagine and most of that, of course is unintelligible to humans.
Megan's school goes on their annual trip, but first the headmaster has to decide where.
She uses her psychic powers to fully examine the location and get the most information from it.

In 'Megan Goes Riding', her friend, Jane, invites her to have free riding lessons on a local farm. Megan is keen to try and to meet the animals, but it doesn't turn out exactly as she had expected.
Her Spirit Guide, Wacinhinsha, explains the experiences that Megan and Jane underwent to her at a meditation session and has a smile at her expense.

In this novelette, Megan's mother starts to teach her to cook and they both enter a Women's Institute cookery competition in the Local Town Hall. Megan's speciality is Bara Brith, a Welsh bread, and Suzanne's is the Victoria Jam Sandwich cake.

Megan's parents encourage the friendship and Megan enjoys the new world of politics that she is introduced to, but her Spirit Guide, Wacinhinsha urges caution.
Volume 8
Megan overcomes the bullying in her own unique way with a little amusing help from her father.

Megan and her parents are concerned that one of them may be sick, but that is not the case, they just have more time on their hands now that they are retired and want to get to know Megan better.
The weekend holds many surprises, but the best one for Megan is hat her grandparents are sympathetic towards her beliefs and can even feel Grrr's presence.
`Megan's Grandparents Visit' is the ninth novella in `The Megan Series', which has the general theme of the psychic development of Megan, a teenage girl, whose father has become sympathetic to, but whose mother is still against her belief in ghosts, familiars and Spirit Guides.

In 'Megan Goes on Holiday', the family goes on holiday abroad and Megan becomes besotted with the place. On her return home, she makes a bit of a fool of herself by pretending to be what she is not and showing off. However her mother and a few others bring her back to reality
Wacinhinsha gives her an explanation for her recent infatuation with her holiday destination.
