The Misconception

Megan is a 12-year-old girl with Supernatural powers. Some of them are still only partially developed and others are working, but she doesn't know how to use them yet.
Her biggest problems for the moment is finding a Teacher who can show her how to use them properly. Another is that she doesn't know anyone who knows anything about Supernatural powers.
In fact, her mother is violently against the Supernatural, as was her mother before her.
The only people who seem willing to help her are dead, not that that makes any difference to Megan.
She embraces their help with open arms

Volume 2

Megan's Thirteenth

Megan is a girl with supernatural, psychic powers that she does not fully understand. She is constantly on the look out for someone to advise her how to develop them, but the only people she knows who are able to help her are dead.

This does not deter Megan from seeking their assistance though.

In this story, it is Megan's thirteenth birthday and Megan's parents take her shopping, where there is an incident, which Megan helps to put right. She is thanked by the police and the ambulance staff.

It is the first time that she uses her powers for anything useful.

Later, in the afternoon, there is a family party in a marquee, but it is the evening with her friends that she is really looking forward to.

She meets a boy there and receives her first kiss from a non-relative.

Megan's School Trip

Megan is a thirteen-year-old teenage girl, who realises that she has psychic powers that others do not have. At first, she tried to talk to her mother about them, but with disastrous consequences, so she learned to keep quiet about them.

However, some people did offer to help and an animal showed a special friendship, but they were not 'alive' in the normal sense of the word. They had passed on.

Megan has three such friends: Wacinhinsha, her Spirit Guide, who had been Sioux in his last life on Earth; her maternal grandfather, Gramps and a huge Siberian tiger called Grrr.

Wacinhinsha is extremely knowledgeable in all things spiritual, psychic and paranormal; her grandfather is a novice 'dead person' and Grrr can only speak Tiger, as one might imagine and most of that, of course is unintelligible to humans.

Megan's school goes on their annual trip, but first the headmaster has to decide where.

She uses her psychic powers to fully examine the location and get the most information from it.

A mysterious girl in the local woods gives her a strong clue as to where Smoke is so Megan investigates. When she reports back to the cat's owner, a Mrs. Williams, Megan gets a big surprise, which changes her life considerably.

Megan and the Mayoress

The weekend holds many surprises, but the best one for Megan is hat her grandparents are sympathetic towards her beliefs and can even feel Grrr's presence.
`Megan's Grandparents Visit' is the ninth novella in `The Megan Series', which has the general theme of the psychic development of Megan, a teenage girl, whose father has become sympathetic to, but whose mother is still against her belief in ghosts, familiars and Spirit Guides.

Wacinhinsha gives her an explanation for her recent infatuation with her holiday destination.
