This book and cassette,is part of a series which provides questions from past exam papers as well as new questions set by actual GCSE examiners. The authors who are all either Chief Examiners or Examiners, have prepared answers and a full mark scheme for each of the questions. They also include their tips on what the examiner is looking for and how to avoid the most commonly made mistakes. Questions are divided into topics with a brief revision summary for each topic, and all the answers are at the back of the book, thus encouraging the student to attempt the questions before referring to the answers. Each book has a general introduction which includes advice on revision and exam technique as well as outlining the types of question likely to be faced. At GCSE level students must be competent in four main areas: reading, writing, listening and speaking. This book on German gives students practice in reading and writing while the cassette assists them in developing and improving their speaking and listening skills. The series is suitable for all GCSE boards and Scottish Standard papers, and is the suitable complement to "Letts GCSE Study Guides".

This revised edition of book and audio CD is intended for use in the preparation for the GCSE German examination in 2000. Written by GCSE teachers and examiners these questions and answers are produced to offer students the opportunity to practice answering exam questions, so as improve their exam technique and performance. The specially selected exam questions with worked answers and examiner's tips, show students how to avoid common mistakes and achieve maximum marks. Included is a mark scheme, revision summaries, and a full mock exam paper.
