In this story an opera is performed by animals, in a toy theatre in a woodland setting. Panic is caused when the star of the show loses her voice just before the show begins. This book has been designed to introduce opera to children and contains a list of operas that they might enjoy. The author/artist's first book was "Katie's Picture Show".
On a visit to the museum, Katie climbs into five Impressionist paintings and has wonderful adventures. Includes information about Impressionism, the paintings shown, and their artists.
