Arizona Law

Published 27 February 2004
Expecting to become the mistress of a great ranch, Sylvia Carfax travels from her luxurious New Orleans home to the plains of Arizona. She is dismayed to find herself in an impoverished small backwoods spread, run by her potential husband Neil and his tough-as-teak mother, Ma Grantham. Before she can return home, she and the Granthams find themselves caught up in the villainous scheming of the suavely attractive Carl Naylor. Neil Grantham finds himself framed for a crime he did not commit and is sentenced to hang alongside his faithful servant. Unless the ladylike Sylvia can shed her soft, city ways and adapt to the dog-eat-dog lifestyle of the Wild West, she too is destined to die horribly at the hands of Naylor.
