"Accountability and Control in Next Steps Agencies" looks at the lessons that can be learned by the UK from looking at other countries that use agencies to manage public services. It looks at next steps agencies comparatively to examine whether agency structures in Germany and Sweden have led these politico administrative systems to develop distinctive patterns of relationships between agency officials, ministers, ministry officials and parliamentary groups.
