Sewing

by Sue Thompson

Published 13 October 1995
The volumes in this series are intended either as stand-alone works on various aspects of needlework, or as a set. This first volume introduces basic techniques fundamental to successful sewing, progressively building skills and applying them to the projects suggested. These include a simple waistcoat, designs for cushions and curtains, and a canopied pavilion. All instructions, both for the stitches and techniques, and for the projects, are clearly explained and illustrated with step-by-step colour artwork and photographic details.
