The Meditation Box

No one can doubt the benefits of sitting in a quiet room, switching off your TV, your phone and your mind, and simply relaxing. But it is not always as easy as that. To unwind completely you really need to meditate, and to meditate successfully your mind must focus. "The Meditation Box" offers four meditation themes - love, peace, balance and transformation - and the one you choose will depend on your particular circumstances of the moment. If you and your partner have quarrelled, you will need the love theme. If you are simply overwhelmed, juggling work and home commitments, you need the balance theme. Select the theme image card to focus on and play the track on the CD. The hypnotic chanting of the mantra and the accompanying natural sound - bees humming on a summer's day, or a distant rumbling thunderstorm - will help reinforce your focus and trigger associations for guided-visualization exercises. There is even an incense holder to help you to create the most appropriate atmosphere for your choice of meditation. The accompanying book explains all the techniques and includes advice on what to wear, how to breathe, and postures and poses to try.
