Good instructional design equals good training. However, learning design in technology-based training (TBT) places particular demands on trainers and developers. This manual covers: deciding TBT is the preferred option for a particular learning need; drawing up an instructional strategy and a brief for the project team; creating visual features such as screen layout and colour, navigation tools, menus, help facilities, and more, which are encouraging to use and conducive to learning; and building in interaction. The book is designed for line managers, and personnel and training officers.
