This book is a physical chemist's approach to polymers and, as such, takes a unique and intermediate position between physical and polymer chemistry. Intended primarily as an introduction to the study of the subject, it analyses the range of problems encompassed by the colloid chemistry of polymers with the aim of clarifying the most important advances and providing an overview of the general state of the art.
