This title explores Roman homes, and the difference between the living situations of rich and poor members of Roman society. It looks at the different types of furniture that Romans had in their homes, how they decorated rooms, what their gardens were like, and also how some Romans had homes abroad.

This title looks at the different types of jobs that both poor and rich Romans had. It explains what a consul, senator or legionary did, and what the duties of the emperor were. It also shows what being a gladiator, priest or priestess, farmer or chariot racer involved.
