This is a fully illustrated guide to calligraphy, providing instructions for both the beginner and the more experienced "scribe" to attain competence in calligraphy techniques and to produce beautiful lettering. The author concentrates on the Round Hand, although creativity is encouraged and an experimental approach to calligraphy. A simple historical chart showing a chronological development of lettering styles and a list of materials and suppliers is also included.
