The full colour artwork supports and explains the text as well as being entertaining and motivating. A wide variety of activities gives opportunity for lots of practice in new skills. The content of each book ties in closely with the Numeracy Strategy in the UK. Each title includes a word bank of key mathematical terms. Approved by educational and numeracy advisors. Peter Patilla is an infant maths specialist and an established OUP author on the "At Home With" series and the "My First Book of" series, illustrated by Julie Park. Liz Pichon is an established picture book artist who has published extensively with Walker Books, Transworld, Hodder, the Early Learning Centre, David Bennett, Random House, Ladybird, and other major publishing houses. This is Liz Pichon's first project with OUP.
