When photojournalist Jordan Glass chances upon a painting which is part of an exhibition entitled 'Nude Women in Repose' by an unknown artist in the Hong Tsin museum in Hong Kong, she gets a rude shock. The face of the woman in the painting is that of Jordan's twin sister, Jane, who vanished without trace from her home in New Orleans thirteen months before. Eleven women altogether have disappeared - and the other paintings in the exhibition are of those missing women.
