Book 1
Wolfy, Franky, and Vampyra—the children of the classic monsters—are Junior Monster Scouts. And even though ‘monster’ is their middle name, these funny fiends just want to help anybody in need, earn their Junior Monster Scout merit badges, and make friends. But, their good deeds are always foiled by Baron Von Grump, a cranky schemer who doesn’t like noise, doesn’t like kids, and most of all doesn’t like the Junior Monster Scouts.
Peter Piper’s kitten Shadow is lost deep in The Gloomy Forest, and the Scouts want to help their new friend. But today is also the Village Cheese Festival and all of the celebrating has Baron Von Grump at wits’ end. How can he play his violin in peace if the villagers are making such a racket? He hatches a cheesy plan that involves huge and hungry rats! Uh-oh! Can the Scouts save the cats, the rats, and the day?
Book 2
It’s The Village’s 150th birthday celebration! And that means bright lights, popcorn machines, a marching band, and a musical merry-go-round. But not if Baron Von Grump can help it! If he shuts off The Village’s electricity, there won’t be any noise or merriment.
Meanwhile, in Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory, Igor Jr. was specifically told not to touch anything, especially “that lever.” But Igor Jr. didn’t listen, and now the lab is a clunking, clanking, crackling mess of gears, electricity, and lightning. Can Vamprya, Franky, and Wolfy—the Junior Monster Scouts—fix Igor’s mess and save The Village party? Or has the Baron ruined the fun for everyone?
Book 3
It’s a rainy day in The Village and rain means puddles. Lots of puddles to splash in and lots of rain to sing in. Singing and splashing is loud. And loud is something Baron Von Grump simply cannot stand. But Baron Von Grump has a plan. If he can get rid of the rain clouds, he’ll get rid of the rain and all the noise! But the Baron’s plan backfires and now it’s raining and pouring, with no end in sight!
Meanwhile, Laguna, a little swampling is learning how to swim. Only she’s pretty scared of the water! Can Laguna and the Junior Monster Scouts learn how to overcome fears and save the town from overflowing?
Book 4
A carnival has come to The Village, complete with a fun house! But what the villagers don’t know is that Baron Von Grump is behind it. If the villagers won’t be silent on their own, he’ll hypnotize them and finally get the peace and quiet he needs! When Junior Monster Scouts Vampyra, Wolfy, and Franky go to the carnival with their new friend George, the Invisible Boy, they can tell not everything is fun and games. Everyone is under some kind of spell! Can the little monsters beat Baron Von Grump’s mesmerizing fun house mirrors and free the villagers?
Book 5
The Junior Monster Scouts have a new grump in town to contend with: Baroness Von Grumpier! A cousin of Baron Von Grump, she’s even grumpier, and even more diabolical! And her sidekick is a toad…a very warty, always frowning, not-ever-happy toad. Baroness Von Grumpier has come to visit while her cousin goes on vacation. She wants to tidy up his windmill, but when she takes out all of his garbage and dumps in into one big, stinking trash heap, it comes alive! Can the little monsters save the townspeople from the ruthless rubbish?
Book 6
The Junior Monster Scouts are going to host an exchange scout, a mummy staying at Castle Dracula for the summer. But when their guest’s pet sphinx gets loose, it starts causing trouble by turning people who can’t answer its riddles to stone! Can the scouts and the mummy capture the sphinx, answer its riddles, and convince it to turn everyone back to normal?
Book 7
It’s winter in the Village and a fresh blanket of snow means sledding, caroling, yummy hot cocoa, and fun for everyone. Everyone, that is, but a lonely Yeti named Igloo and cranky Baron Von Grump whose cabin is about to be whisked away by a scary avalanche! Can the Junior Monster Scouts—Franky, Wolfy, and Vampyra—save the day and make a new (and not-so-abominable) friend?

Baron Von Grump and Baroness Von Grumpier are hosting a family reunion! Before the Junior Monster Scouts or villagers know it, there are Grumps everywhere with plans to take over the village with their not-too-nice ways! Can the scouts make peace with this feuding family?

Dr. Frankenstein is back in his lab cooking up trouble. He creates a shrinking—and growth—ray that inadvertently hits Baron Von Grump’s windmill! Uh-oh!
