Faith is the Graces' oldest pony, and she holds a special place in the family's heart. Josie and her best friend Anna, are dreading saying goodbye to Faith - especially if she ends up going to the snooty Hyde-White family. Harriet Hyde-White is an arch enemy of Anna's - she's stuck-up and cruel - and dear old Faith needs peace and quiet! Josie and her Mum love Hope - she's serene and good-natured - but she is very plain. Josie worries that no one will want her. And when the local Animal Sanctuary shows interest in taking her, Josie is horrified. Hope comes from a good home, she doesn't need sanctuary! Charity is the baby at the stables. Josie has known her since she was born - she even learned to ride on Charity before she could walk. It was bad enough losing Faith and Hope, but Josie knows she will miss her special Charity most of all. Offers come and go, and none of them are quite right. Josie is half-relieved, but half-frustrated, too - the longer it takes to find a new home for Charity the harder it will be to let her go. But Josie's parents have a big surprise in store for their daughter - they're about to make her dream come true!
While visiting Friendship House, Josie learns that Hope's new home is in danger of closing. Josie notices a young girl named Bailey, who loves spending time at the stables. The little girl is very attached to Hope-her only friend. Determined to figure out why the girl is so troubled. Josie decides to visit more often. She must figure out how to help Bailey and save Friendship House before it is too late.
Josie Grace managed to find the perfect homes for her three horses, Faith, Hope and Charity. But while picking up supplies at the tack shop, Josie hears news about an orphaned foal. She volunteers to take care of the foal, and feedings are going well, but the foal seems lonely.
