Book 1

Giving a child a gift is a special time. Giving them the gift of love is something we should do all the time. Giving a child a gift of a story about the love of God is something that will touch them at a deeper level. Mary and Joseph's love for their child was also a love for their Saviour. And we can love Jesus only because he first loved us. He loved us enough to come as a child at Christmas time and as our Saviour at any time.

Book 3

If there is a game that children like to play even more than hide-and-seek - it has to be 'Peek-a-boo'. A little boy or girl will sit for ages as your face disappears behind your hands only to pop out again moments later. Seeing is often described as believing. Simeon and Anna saw Jesus and they believed in him. They saw the child and they saw that he was their saviour. And as your child begins to discover the wonderful world of books and pages may you both see the beauty of King Jesus for yourselves.

Book 4

When Jesus was born he was a normal baby, but there was one thing different. Jesus was born to be King, to be the King of Kings. If you were to make a list of things that children love presents and games would be right there at the top. Kings get expensive presents. Jesus was given gifts by some wise men. But the gift he wants most of all is for people to love God. From the very beginning Jesus was a different King, a better King, the best King of all.
