Princess of the Sea
2 primary works
Book 1
The Princess of the Sea tells the story of Miranda, a beautiful mermaid. She lives in a cave at the bottom of the Mewstone, a large outcrop of rock which lies just off the south coast of Devon.
The story tells of her adventures together with her friends: a colony of grey seals and other marine creatures. Miranda has many companions, from tiny Neptune, a seahorse, to the mighty Bertram, a blue whale who travels the oceans of the world.
The characters are fictitious, but the locations are real. The author combines fantasy with fiction to create a magical story.
