This revised edition contains advice to parents on the education system, choosing a primary school, starting school, the National Curriculum, testing and assessment, social issues and becoming involved in their child's education. It will incorporate all the recent changes to the National Curriculum and developments in education in general, including baseline assessment, league tables and changes to the National Tests. For 1997, the title will be incorporated into the "At Home with the National Curriculum" range, to provide an aid to parents using books within the range as well as to those who buy the guide alone. There are bullet points and highlighted key words for extra clarity.
