Angelina and cousin Henry go camping in the Big Cat Mountains with Anglina's Uncle Louie. The two little Mouselings get lost and soon it is dark and stormy and they think they can see Big Cat himself. They eventually find Uncle Louie and promise never to go off on their own again. Ages 3+.
When Miss Lilly asks Angelina the mouse to be a helper in the beginner ballet class, Angelina feels very grown-up and decides to give up her babyish rag doll, with unexpected results.
Angelina is looking forward to a day at the fair with Alice and William but her hopes are dashed when Mrs. Mouseling insists that she takes her young cousin, Henry, with her. Not wanting to miss out on the fun her friends are having on the rides, Angelina leaves Henry in the clown show to amuse himself. But when Angelina and her friends return, Henry is no longer there...
When Angelina does not get the star role in the Christmas dance recital, she becomes upset and quits the show, but when one of the performers is injured she suddenly sees the importance of doing the role given her to her best ability.
This story follows Angelina through a ballet class and encourages reader participation with little diagrams of Angelina and her friends practising the various ballet movements - plies, pirouettes, etc.
