When John Seymour's Companion Guide to East Angliawas first published in 1970, it was greeted with wide enthusiasm and rapidly established itself as the essential guide to this wonderful area of England. Now John Burke, whohas lived for much of his life in Southwold and whose love of East Anglia is as great as John Seymour's, has thouroughly revised and updated the original book, correcting omissions but retaining the uniquely delightful and individual approach that Seymour made. He has also added a completely new chapter on Peterborough and Huntingdon, and for this new edition the maps have been redrawn.
