Four new brand-new full-cast Blake's 7 adventures set during the TV series' third season. 4.5 Funeral on Kalion by Trevor Baxendale. Thern Sorron, the ruler of Kalion, is dead. Federation presidents, both old and new, attend the funeral ostensibly to pay their respects, but whoever possesses the Seal of Kalion, controls the vast Kalion shipyards. 4. 6 Shock Troops by Cavan Scott. As the war between the presidents escalates, new recruits are urgently required. Dayna gains first-hand experience of what life can be like as a Federation trooper as she confronts insurgent forces on a frontier world. 4. 7 Erebus by Paul Darrow. The Liberator is lured to the planet Erebus. There, the former Federation president is colluding with an old acquaintance of Avon’s who is eager for a reunion. 4.8 The Scapegoat by Steve Lyons. On the Federation world of Astra Valadina, the former President is hatching a plan to discredit his successor and turn the tide of the war in his favour. The unwitting pawns in his scheme are the crew of the Liberator. Blake's 7 proves to be one of Big Finish's most popular ranges, with fans of the original late 1970s BBC1 series enjoying many of the TV actors returning to their roles. This set comprises the second rule of four tales in a fourth series of full-cast Blake's 7 adventures from Big Finish, accompanying three complete series of full-cast adventures, and the award-winning range of Blake's 7–Liberator Chronicles volumes. The stories are set within the third BBC TV series, as Paul Darrow's Avon begins to cement his place as the leader of the anti-heroes on their stolen alien ship. Book 5
An Audio Novel About The Notorious Anti-Hero of Blake's 7! Many legends surround the aftermath of the collapse of The Federation, including the fate of Kerr Avon...What happened to Avon after the death of Blake and the crew of the Scorpio? Paul Darrow's vivid re-imagining picks up Avon's story at the final moments of the final episode of Blake's 7 and follows him on his fight for survival, this time with no crew and no ship to help him. The adventure continues years later as Avon, now an old man, finds himself a key player in the game of power politics being played out on a grand scale by The Quartet - four ruthless leaders in an uneasy alliance, who govern the world in place of the Federation. Old enemies resurface and dangerous new ones appear as the time comes for old scores to finally be settled...Actor Paul Darrow - who brought such sardonic life to Blake's 7's character Kerr Avon - is the voice of this six-disc reading. This is the second Big Finish novel Paul Darrow has written, adding to existing contributions to the canon of the popular 1970s/1980s BBC1 series. CAST Paul Darrow (Kerr Avon)
Book 7
Powerful, intelligent, ruthless...Servalan as a child, learning early about power and how to get it...Avon as a young man, finding ways to beat the system...Two sides of a coin, two lives on a collision course...The events on the Liberator are only a part of their story. Now it's time to find out how it started - and how it ends. Lucifer: Genesis is a compelling and vivid reimagining of Avon's life, starting long before the events of the TV series, following his journey from the Liberator to the Scorpio, and leading us into the bleak future of the post-Federation world. Genesis is the third book in Paul Darrow's Lucifer trilogy for Big Finish Productions. Paul Darrow is an actor who is probably best known for his portrayal of Avon in Blake's 7, although he has appeared in many other television programmes and theatre productions and, albeit briefly, one or two films. He is currently the voice of the independent radio station JACK FM. He has written Avon - A Terrible Aspect, the novel of Queen: The Eye and You're Him, Aren't You?, a brief memoir, published by Big Finish. He is an avid reader of novels and fascinated by military history. He lives with a small dachshund in Sussex.
Lucifer: Genesis is the third and last book in the Lucifer trilogy.
