Book 36

This Little Book aims to demonstrate exciting ways to use washing lines to support learning in every area of the curriculum. We hope that this humble piece of household equipment will become as fundamental a piece of equipment in your setting as it has been in our homes.

An interesting theme that can be nicely adapted to the early years
environment by including maps and plans in play and schema with links
to transport and making connections. Also provides a perfect
opportunity to use mark making on a large scale.
Activities include: Outdoor action track map, a map from a track, mapping small world play, a pirate treasure map and lots more!

The Little Book of Role Play Windows provides a range of fun role play activities, in which scenarios are acted out through a window made using just a cardboard box. Playing with pedal cars can transform into a car park scenario with car park attendant; dressing up play can be extended by creating a fancy dress hire shop; and playing with soft toy animals can lead on to a trip to the vets!
