"Fact Finders" focus on favourite classroom topics and introduce pupils to the skills they need to read, handle and understand information books. They cover non-fiction features such as the contents page, index, headings, glossary and different layouts. This pack offers "big book" versions of the Fact Finders of the same titles. It contains one Unit D title, two Unit E titles and three Unit F titles: "Festival Food", "Discovering Bath", "Exploring Where You Live", "Pollution", "Protecting Our Wildlife" and "Caring for Our Environment".

It introduces non-fiction to infant children, focusing on the development of the information retrieval and handling skills they need. The teacher's text supports the first 18 titles in the series, in Units A, B and C. Its contents include background to the series, teaching strategies, notes on managing the series, ideas and exercises. There is also a range of photocopiable resources and activities.
