'Ten a Penny 'concludes the Moving Deckchairs trilogy. Most of the same characters are present if differently disposed. The impossibility of changing behaviour permanently and the shifting nature of identity are again explored but, as with the first two books, the over-riding aim is to entertain.
Here is a sorcerer's apprentice story spiced by satire, where what started out as the best of intentions - to engender a culture of continuous improvement - is undone by an unholy combination of dark, latte and cappuccino forces.
