So, i don’t know. Im barely into this and Tella is super annoying. Like immature and fragile in a way i don’t remember her being in the other books. She disnt always make great decisions but i remember being bold and living with conviction (even when she was nsive and supervwrong). This feels like Garber is trying too hard to generate conflict for the sake of manufacturing a story.
On the plus side, things turn around fairly quickly. Tella goes back to being bold and a little reckless. There’s some more magic and everything ends better than expected. In the end it’s a decent, magical little story.
