Stormtrooper were, at one time in the 80's, the most successful rock band on the planet. Everything they touched turned to gold. But amongst all the fame was jealously and greed. This resulted in the sacking of their iconic lead singer, Jimmy Parrish, for drug usage that endangered the band's continued success.

Sometime later, after a bitter break up, Jimmy Parrish apparently committed suicide in mysterious circumstances. His body was never found. A proposed 'warts and all' book on the band that he had been approached to write would now never happen, a blessing for some.

The Mark II line up of the band went on to have global success in the 80's and entered the rock and roll hall of fame as one of the biggest rock bands of all time. Even when they finally split up, the spectre of Jimmy Parrish never fully went away.

Fast forward twenty years and the band have reformed to record a new album. They are heading for the remote island of Ruma, off the Outer Hebrides. Ruma is a wild, isolated place of mystery and intrigue. They will stay at the grand house of a reclusive film director who has a state-of-the-art recording studio in the bowels of the building.

Storm Alec is due to hit the island. It will cut it and its inhabitants off from the rest of civilisation. But worst is to come as a mysterious killer lurks within the walls of the house, hellbent on murdering each and every member of the band and their recording crew.

Who is it and what is their motive?

There is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

Nobody is coming to help.

As the body count rises, who, if anybody, can survive?

Making a hit record can sometimes be murder.
