Somehow J. Ryan Stradal is able to capture so much about small town life and the dynamics of a multi-generation families in his stories. Reading Saturday Night at the Lakeside Supper Club was like sitting down at The Club back in my hometown in Southern Minnesota. There's a ton of comfort, lots of family dynamics happening on every page and delicious food on the table.
