Ornamental (Irons and Works 8) by E.M. Lindsey
4 Maple Leaf Review
⏤
Luke has returned back to Farefield to try and finally put down roots and feel like he belongs. Raf has come to Farefield to try and get his life back on track and reunite with his brother. Neither Luke nor Raf expected each other to be the ones to ground each other.
Luke and Raf may have a decent age gap between them but I loved how patient Luke is with Raf and how easy they fell into their friendship and more. I have binged the entire Irons and Works series and completely fell in love with all of the characters. The books moved a little slower than I am used to and seemed to focus more on the characters individual disabilities more than the romance but I still enjoyed them and the little family the Irons and Works crew developed.
Ornamental is an mm, age gap, single dad, friends-to-lovers romance told in the dual first-person point of view.
