Will Hazel keep her old crush's feelings for Tanner at bay?
Hazel Green
Hazel Green is our scrub nurse who ended up with a crush on Tanner while in high school, and Tanner was in college with her brother. She didn't mean to end up crushing on her brother's best friend, and now she has to see him every day at work and home. Hazel ends up fighting off all his admirers at the hospital who thinks that she can give them a leg up on the competition of getting to have a date with Tanner. She doesn't do it because she doesn't see it as being right.
I love Hazel throughout as she made me laugh out loud while I was reading the book. Every time she told him that she had a boyfriend or a fake date was hilarious. Even their moments away from the hospital. I didn't dislike anything about her.
Tanner Wilson
Tanner Wilson is, of course, our trauma surgeon who we met at the end of the first book. He also had a crush on Hazel but never thought she even liked him that way. These two are so cute throughout the entire story. Tanner tries his hardest to dodge the female hospital staff, who makes it impossible at times. He is a good doctor and an excellent friend to Hazel when she needs his help. Tanner is a thoughtful person and wants to save lives without anyone having a hard time with him. The other thing that I like about him is how he deals with a certain OBGYN doctor.
Five Stars
Falling for Doctor Drop-Dead Gorgeous by Sophie-Leigh Robbins is a hilarious story about two hospital workers falling in love, well, just realizing that they are meant for each other and have already fallen for each other all those years ago. Ms. Robbins does a fantastic job of making Tanner so different from, say, Colton or what we have seen of Maggie and Blake. I love this series so much. Blake Wilson's story is next, and I wonder what Ms. Robbins will do with them that is just as funny as Colton and Elle's story along with this one.
My rating for Falling for Doctor Drop-Dead Gorgeous by Sophie-Leigh Robbins is five stars. I'm recommending it to anyone that loves an excellent rom-com book, as this book is the one for you. It's unputdownable once you get into it.
