To experience God and God's power anew - that is the concern of this theology of the Holy Spirit. It provides orientation in the conflict area of spiritual experiences, spiritual quests and spiritual skepticism of our time. It leads into the exciting fields of experience of the biblical traditions. It shows how there God's presence and God's power are realistically perceived in the spirit: amidst adversity, in the collapse of cultural, political and moral systems, in collective and individual obsession, but also in unexpected salvation, in the establishment of justice and peace and in the A torn world growing together. The realistic perception of the spirit leads past the wrong paths of totalitarian metaphysics, only speculative theology of the Trinity, abstract mysticism and the cult of the irrational and numinous. The realistic theology of the Holy Spirit aims at a new sensitivity to God's power and presence, to possibilities of experiencing and expressing God's presence in the spirit.
