Postcards from Scotland is the first of a two volume oral history of the Scottish indie music scene from 1983 up until recent times from the director of the Glasgow Indie Music documentary, Teenage Superstars.
Postcards from Scotland covers the independent Scottish music scene of the 1980s and early 1990s, which included such bands as Teenage Fanclub, Jesus and Mary Chain and Primal Scream. The book features interviews with almost all musicians, record labels, venues, promoters and journalists central to the scene.
