Will Coriander figure out who killed Delphine?
Coriander
Coriander is a fairy, who grew up in the human world, until she came across the Faire, and now she is a part of the cursed group of magical beings stuck there. We learn a bit more about the sorceress who cursed them all to stay there with Coriander's help. Knowing that was one of my questions since Ms. Johnson's book. Coriander is a young fairy who knows nothing about the fairy part of herself, but she is still learning. She has a job to read people's futures or anything they want to know since Coriander doesn't want anything to do with the fairy population at the Faire.
I like Coriander a lot. She is a cool and awesome fairy who knows her limitations while also learning more about her past.
The Mystery
Coriander takes it upon herself with the blessings of the Mer population to look into how their princess got killed and who would kill her. There are a lot of suspects, and a lot of them keep getting taken off the list just to be put back onto it. Coriander has a lot on her mind while trying to solve this mystery. Both Coriander and I were shocked to find out who killed Delphine as I just didn't see the person who could have done it.
Five Stars
All Swell That Ends Spell by Trixie Silvertale is my first book by Ms. Silvertale, and it was fantastic. I love how it weaved right in with what Ms. Johnson has already laid groundwork on with the first book in this series and how this one just flowed right with it. Another thing that I like is how Coriander isn't like the other happy-go-lucky fairy's that are a part of the Faire. My rating for this book is five stars. I recommend it to anyone who likes cozy paranormal mysteries—especially ones with a cursed magical population in a Renaissance Faire setting. :)
