Lots of ground covered, but more than a 101 level explanation of subjects covered. Some stuff I knew already, some I didn't (like the house buying chapter). I liked that she offered multiple options in the budgeting chapter, so people can find what works for them. I think that's more empowering than other approaches (cough, Dave Ramsey). I'd actually refer to this as a resource in the future, so five stars from me.

This was a fantastic overview going from the very beginnings of one’s financial journey to more advanced investing concepts. I’d recommend it no matter where you are in terms of your finances. It is written by an American author so was less applicable to me as a Canadian, but Lowry’s explanation of financial concepts + principles + strategies is very helpful no matter what your nationality is.
