This is a brand new series from Marvel. It has none other than Coleen Wing and Misty Knight as the two main characters. And before you ask, no I will not confirm or deny whether or not I squealed when I heard the announcement of this duo.
This was a great read. They’re still getting into the grove of things, but I still really enjoyed seeing Coleen outside of the context of Iron Fist.
This issue was sort of a one-shot, but also I think it was establishing an antagonist that will likely pop up every now and then. I think that was the perfect call for the new series.
Oh, did I mention that this issue is slightly longer than normal? Plenty of time to get to know our girls. Though admittedly there was more Coleen than Misty in this issue. I was fine with that, but I’m looking forward to seeing the two of them work together more.
