Tabby Rogers is offered a dream chance of being a make up artist on a film set after the previous artist was injured in an accident. She's excited to be given the chance and hopes this will give her resume the needed boost to find work once she graduates from her training classes in London. But when she meets one of the stunt men, in full make up and costume and feels that instant connection, she should have realized that things were about to change.
Eli Black has worked hard to get to the top of the New Zealand Stunt Man group. It was always a dream of his and his brothers to do this kind of work and end up in Hollywood. With his brother gone, Eli is determined to finish this film and back this bags for LA. Nothing and no one could derail his course, that is until he meets the replacement make up artist. Then he's breaking his own rules about not dating anyone on a movie set and also wondering what that means for the rest of his plans.
Tabby and Eli were awesome characters. They were so down to earth and fought valiantly to stick to their own agendas. While both of their brains were with the program, their hearts kept pulling them closer to each other. Eli talked about his brother Charlie, which he never did. Tabby shared the struggles her family is going through now that he father has Alzheimers. It was very clear to the reader that both of them were meant for each other...seems it took the characters a little bit longer to get there.
Wonderfully written with witty dialogue, hot sex and two characters that were absolutely perfect together. A pleasure to read.
