Sara moved on with her life, at least professionally, but was never able to let go of Will. He invaded her thoughts and dreams, but she never once thought to reach out to him. When she's assigned to work on a renovation project of an old Victorian home where she used to summer with her best friend, she's instantly transported back to the summer they met and fell in love. What she doesn't expect is to come face to face with the ghost from that summer.
Will let Sara push him away five years before, thinking that was truly what she wanted. It tore his heart out, but he did it for her sake. But that didn't mean he hadn't kept up on what she was doing. When the opportunity came to buy the Victorian home and have it remodel, there was never any question in his mind who he would hire to do it. He had hoped to get some closure to what happened between them, but instead discovered that what had burned so brightly as a teenager, was even hotter as adults.
Sara and Will had a lot of misunderstandings and half truths to work through before they could get to a point where they could truly get to the heart of their relationship. They still loved each other, despite everything that had happened. But in order for their relationship to work, one of them had to be willing to let go of their dream. It took them both a bit, but the finally realized that their dreams didn't really involve a job or large sums of money in the bank.
