I love this series so much! Off Limits shared how much Emily has grown since her brother Ryan's book. It also shared how strong she is - both mentally and physically, and I absolutely loved her.
Nix, of course, made the story even better - with his grouchy, secret self, he made a little bit of a mystery with Emily - even if it was clear that he was very attracted to her.

I have to say, I was very impressed with the depth of the characters in this book. Nix was so complicated and I loved that SB gave props to a military man. She paid tribute to our armed forces and it did not come across preachy, it flowed with the story in a very organic way. I loved that Nix did not wear his heart on his sleeve and that he sweet side was not sappy. It just made him come across as more genuine and real. And, the reason why I love series like these, it was fantastic to catch up with Ryan and Danny. I love getting to see what happened next and to see how a relationship from a past book evolved. A lot of good feels in this one.
