When God took the children of Israel out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses, He had a purpose. That purpose was that they should go in to the Promised Land. God had one sole aim and intention- that they should go out to go in. It was not God's intention that they should wander in the wilderness until they died. Numbers 14:22 tells us that the Children of Israel 'tested' God ten times during their wanderings in the wilderness. Our walk with God can feel like a wilderness sometimes too. But like the Children of Israel, it is not God's intention to simply let us wander aimlessly. By looking at the events leading up to the escape from Egyptian captivity, and the tests that the Children of Israel subsequently under-went, often without understanding the significance of what they were doing, The Ten Tests in the Wilderness will change your walk with God.
