Mr. Choli's River Trip' is the second in a series of children's books which follows the humorous adventures of Mr. Tinfish the penguin and his friends as they try to cope with the impact of climatic change in their community. Mr. Choli is the head detective of the colony. He has gained his lofty reputation through his past adventures brought about by the changing climate. His expeditions have included finding a new home for his companions to escape the rising sea levels, the mystery of the disappearing river, and rescuing animals from Volcano Island. However, his biggest adventure is yet to come. This time he leads a boat trip to find new plants for the animals to eat as the plants at the colony are struggling to survive and grow in the increasingly hot conditions.
