In the 1980s, the first promotional flyers for instant warehouse parties were simple and cheap, but soon "underground" became "mainstream" and club culture became a way of life for a generation. Yet instead of big business overwhelming a cottage industry, as in the traditional version of events, the vitality of club graphics has refreshed and influenced the more staid media.
