Tetracycline is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of varieties of bacterial infections. This includes pneumonia and mycoplasma infections, mouth infections and some sexually transmitted infections.
It can also be used to treat infections transmitted by ticks, lice, fleas and mites, such as Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus group, Q fever and Coxiella endocarditis and tick fevers.
Most side effects of this medication consists of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, virginal itching discharge, diarrhea, upset stomach, loss of appetite and many more.
Tetracycline is one of the group of antibiotics which together may be used to treat peptic ulcers caused by bacterial infections.
