Early Islamic and Fatimid period luster wares are represented by outstanding vessels, and a large dish showing an enthroned ruler dating from the 14th century is found in the early Persian section. The Ilkhanid period is represented by many rare items, matched by a wide variety of previously unstudied Timurid vessels.
