Kara just thinks he is a madman to start with and like most people would do in that situation she tries to get free to no avail.
This book had me gripped from page one and it was hard to put down. It began by introducing the main characters who were Kara and Roland. Twins who were separated at a young age. Roland has some mental issues though and had been stalking Kara for a long while, he wanted to be with his twin sister but not like normal people would like to, no, he wanted them to both die on their birthday together. I liked Kara she was a strong woman, I also felt for Roland not so much as the man he became but as he was when he was a young boy. The main story was about all of the lies that Kara had been told about her life, she didn’t know she had a twin brother, which must be so hard to be told so many years later and only because of a serious situation like Kara is in.
The book is a brilliant psychological thriller with violence and murder.
The epilogue was left on a huge cliff hanger and I do hope there is another book and not like some films that end oddly.
