Half-Hours With the Idiot by John Kendrick Bangs is the story which revolves around the central character Mr. Idiot. Though the title prepares the readers for a person who is supposed to be really stupid, the overall impression of the Idiot is completely changed by the end of the story.
The very opening dialogue spoken by the Idiot convinces the readers that the so called Idiot is actually a genius who has extensive knowledge of the worldly and administrative affairs of the government. There are eight chapters in all and each chapter is dedicated to a different topic. The most impressive of the chapter is the one in which Mr. Idiot talks with the Doctor.
The story is definitely going to entertain the readers thoroughly. The book is really worth reading.
