This is one of the best graphic novels I've read in a while. It is set, mainly in Canada, about a hundred years into the future. The White House has been attacked and the US has invaded Canada and pretty much beat it into submission. The story focuses on a small band of Canadian civilians turned rebels, fighting for the freedom of their country. The story is a bit raw at times, but the characters are strong. I really liked the way the story was drawn and it kept me engaged so much that I read through it in two sittings. Rather than giving too much away then I'd recommend picking this up and giving it a go. I borrowed this book from the library.
