Known Unknowns is a research project investigating the spatial manifestations of the "War on Terror." By investigating the "black sites," secret CIA run prisons, this project traces the political machinations of sovereignty and territorial power that led to the establishment of a worldwide torture network created as a new form of information technology. This book was presented as a thesis project in the Critical, Curatorial and Conceptual Practices in Architecture program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
