Honorable Intentions is Russell Jones' memoir of a life with adventure, risks, and struggles against man, machine, and nature. As a combat helicopter pilot, police officer, narcotics detective, DEA task force officer, and intelligence agent, Russell Jones served with honor, yet constantly questioned his country's policies. One of those violent wars continues today and Russell Jones pulls back the veil on what is really happening. Russell Jones was raised in Los Gatos, CA. His career includes serving as an Army helicopter pilot during Vietnam, a police officer and narcotics detective with San Jose, CA, a DEA Task Force Officer, and intelligence agent in Costa Rica during Iran-Contra. His work as a consultant and forensic expert in narcotics enforcement has taken him from the Soviet Union, throughout the People's Republic of China, and to Tibet. State and Federal Courts have recognized Russell Jones as an expert in the Psychological and Physiological effects of drugs and narcotics. Now retired and living in the Texas Hill Country, Russell Jones travels across the country speaking to civic organizations and at universities on government policies.
