I was really liking this story until I read the ending with Galen and his encounter with Sabin and Gwen. I will only say that Showalter with her constant reminders how the Lord's would die for each other and blah blah, totally blew this belief out of the water, well fuck, out of the ocean! Seriously, after all the sacrifices, loss, and torment that the Lord's have gone through due to Galens actions, Sabin allowed Gwen to LET GALEN ESCAPE! REALLLY!!!! By this act alone Showalter degraded and weakened the Lord's superiority especially Sabins. He basically put Gwen stupid choice over his so called brother's (the Lord's) quest to destroy Galen. He basically choose her over his brothers which I think is very low to do especially all the pain and suffering the Lord's have gone through to get her. Showalter has totally weakened this Lord and his superior qualities. I think there could have been a different way to allow Galen to escape without having to low the Lord's love and dedication to each other while still having their love for their women.
